Appearance: With vibrant, bright pink hair, Marui definitely doesn't want to just blend into the crowd. What started out as an experiment with a box of red dye and peroxide quickly morphed into what quickly became his trademark all throughout college. A few piercings in his ears and an obnoxiously bright tattoo completed the so-called 'edgy' look he was going for; although if you called him out for trying to compensate for his shorter than average height, he'd deny it and say that he was just trying to enhance his already amazing good looks.
Being a rock star required you to walk the walk and look the look, and Marui Bunta was definitely not chicken when it came to experimenting with anything from hair dye to ripped up fabrics and chains. Anything to stand out in the sea of boring business suits and briefcases to say the least.
History: Information about family; where do they come from?
Growing up in a family with two younger twin brothers, life had always been hectic to say the least. Somewhere along the long, long laundry list of activities his mother had put them all in (a way to focus the energy of 3 young boys she said) from baseball to chess to music lessons, Marui had met the guitar, and it somehow managed to hold his attention better than anything else he'd tried.
A tensai, his teacher had called him, and he really truly was; the ability to make up melodies and improvise carrying him far both in classical music competitions and in the random garage bands he played in throughout his high school years. Slacking in his traditional schoolwork was a habit his family could never rid him of, but he managed to get into a music school....only to drop out a year and a half later in order to join a band in the indie scene with a few of his classmates who he had formed it with.
They spent two years playing in random venues and wherever and whenever possible. Life wasn't always the easiest, and there wasn't always cupcakes and cakes to be afforded, but Marui made it through. And now that his genius talent had caught the eyes of Royalty Records, there was definitely no going back down now.
Part Time Job(if any): Marui works at record store whenever he can manage to in between shows and practices.
